The Forgotten Circle
You wake from centuries of imprisonment with no magic and no memories. A golem bearing your face walks beside you, quietly helping you remember. Each loop around a cursed path, fragments of power and identity return — and something darker offers you a faster way
The Loop
The Forgotten Circle is a dark fantasy roguelite where you guide a circle of wizards through an endlessly repeating cursed path. Combat happens automatically — your power is in the choices you make: what to place along the path, what to sacrifice, what to keep, and who to become.
The world doesn't judge you. It simply reflects what you've done. There are no moral meters. Only consequences.

The Story
Wizards created golems as tools. Then rogue wizards tore a dimensional rift and interdimensional parasites — the Inhabitors — poured through. They possessed the golems. The golems learned to imprison wizards in mana pods, keeping them alive for centuries, draining their magic to evolve themselves.
You are one of the wizards who broke free. You have nothing. No name you can remember. No spell you can cast. A lone uncorrupted golem — shaped in your image — walks beside you and says nothing yet.
Each loop around the path, a little more comes back. The question is what kind of person you were — and whether you become them again.
